Mid term CME Guidelines

  • The broad guidelines and conditions for Scientific Paper presentation for PG students in the Mid term conference of IRIA Kerala chapter 2018
  • PG students of DMRD / MD/ DNB (Radiodiagnosis) from different institutions in Kerala are eligible for the presentation
  • The areas in which the paper to be submitted includes all branches of Radiodiagnosis including Nuclear medicine and Radiation physics
  • The Research question selected should be relevant to the branch of Radiodiagnosis and to patient care directly or indirectly
  • A certificate from HOD is required for the authenticity of the paper
  • Initial scrutiny will be after the evaluation of the abstract received before the stipulated time limit. Best six papers will be selected for platform presentation. Rest of them can be considered as posters if needed
  • The selection panel of experts will be from Institutions / Departments, from which there is no paper for competition. The decisions of the selection panel is final
  • The last date for submission of abstracts is 15th October 2018
  • Selected paper titles will be intimated in IRIA  Mid term website by 16th oct 2018
  • Total time for presentation is 10 minutes – 8 minutes for presentation of the paper by the candidate and 2 minutes for discussion
  • If there is a tie, the prize money will be split equally
  • All participants should either be student  members or applied for membership of IRIA

The abstract and full Scientific Papers ppt should be sent to iriamidterm2017@gmail.com and sent in the format below:
1) Tile of the paper 2) Author  3) Affiliation (institution to which the author is attached)
4) Certificate from the HOD 5) Address for communication 6) E-mail address
7) The abstract should have following titles (Not more than 200 words)

  • Research question
  • Aims and Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Guidelines for Posters:

  • PG students of DMRD / MD/ DNB (Radiodiagnosis) / Consultants from different institutions in Kerala are eligible for participation
  • The areas in which the paper to be submitted includes all branches of Radiodiagnosis including Nuclear medicines and Radiation physics
  • A certificate from HOD is required for the authenticity of the poster for PGs
  • All participants should either be student members or applied for membership of IRIA
  • All posters will be e – posters
  • The first slide should display the topic, name of the author and address including Email
  • The last slide should be for relevant references
  • The entire ppt presentation should be sent to iriamidterm2017@gmail.com before 20th oct 2018, 5 pm
